Late afternoon in Green-Wood, a crusty old bandit walking like a old cat. 
Elsewhere: one of two young and a mother who were just crossing the street then they saw us. They climbed back up the tree they’d come down.
The youngsters seemed very curious.

Are the Green-Wood raccoons diurnal? I almost never see them out during the day around here.

This was late in the day, but still several hours before dark. The place closes at 7; I wonder if they just get an early start?
