  2. I come upon similar vignettes in my woods, mostly armadillos now. But an opossum got stuck in the overflow drain in my dam and died of starvation there, quickly decaying. All that is left now are its bones.

    I wouldn’t have expected such clean teeth in a wild critter like your raccoon.

    1. I was wondering if the sun had bleached those teeth?
