  1. Nope – equally pretty, but not primary. Orange and green are mixes of the three primary [pigment] colors. I love the colors of Fall. I kind of like being pedantic too.

    1. I was thinking more of a famous book…

  2. Ah! Didn’t get the allusion – didn’t read the book or see the movie, but I’ve now Wiki-ed the plot. I prefer these colors, primary or not, to that scenario.

    1. Sometimes the hardest part of this whole thing is coming up with a title.

  3. That’s why newspaper headline writers are a different group from reporters. But I think this is the first time I’ve missed on the title. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Thank you again for your gorgeous photos. They make my days!!! Greenwood Cenetery would be a great place to be a ghost!

  5. Actually, I think in light (rather than pigment) green IS considered the primary color to replace yellow.

  6. I know – that’s why I specified pigment. I know how to mix paints to get colors, but I don’t know how to mix light. But I guess that may be how theater lighting crews get their colors. So, Nature as a painter or a lighting technician…hmm. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Lots of colored gels in the world of make-pretend of theater and film.
