
Some phragmites, and at least one, maybe two, other species have colonized this old whatever-it-is high above the D train at 9th Avenue, Sunset Park.

Have a vague sense it has something to do with concrete. There’s a bee-themed sculpture at that station which wasn’t yet unveiled when I was there, so I must return soon for that, too.
