Back in March I noticed some improbable cattails growing from the roof of an old garage on Furman Street, underneath the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. I recently walked by again, both underneath and above.
I think there might be some pragmites up there as well.

You are cattail genius!!!! I’m a wetlands person and live by the promenade!! So cool! I think I saw baby cattails in the wetlands feature of the Brooklyn bridge park but they haven’t been growing fast. Thanks so much!
