Seven Herons In 30 Minutes

Sylvan Water, about 10:10 a.m. One Great Blue Heron.
Two adult Green Herons. Foreground one has a fish.
A Great Egret.
Make that two.
The arrival of the second Great Egret put up both the Great Blue and the resident Great Egret.
There was some flapping as the egrets chased each other around the pond.
And don’t forget the fledlging Green Herons. Two of the three seen on Sunday were spotted again. They are sitting. You don’t see that every day.

Sunday mornings, traditionally (in some traditions), are for passing the plate.
