Lots of character.
To misquote Owl in Winnie Ther Pooh on a scale from one to ten, I’d say that is a very good idea.
Waiting on my second dose. Couple of weeks away, I think.
Nice pics of the grackle. An unheralded bird.
The light seemed to be perfect for bringing out the Technicolor dream coat feathers, very bright but not direct.
Grackles provide a great example of structural color vs pigment color. Look at one in the shade and it is a dark, drab bird. In even a little direct sun light the irridescent blues, greens and purples erupt gloriously. There are probably some ultraviolet notes there, too, but humans can’t see them. Birds can.
