  1. Was there that day. Saw a snapping turtle, the turtles with yellow dots, two others. Great place.

    1. You may be closer than we are. That was a Spotted Turtle.

      1. Yeah, we’re about 45 mins. What kind of chorus frogs were singing, do you know? Trying to ID frog song, volunteering for Morris Co. Love the nuthatch pics, also a favorite.

      2. Alas, I don’t know my chorus frog songs. I’ve never even seen one, although once I was between a Beethoven’s 9th of them on a narrow path and could feel the massed song through every bone.

      3. Sounds like heaven. I’m looking forward to going back to the swamp once it’s warmer and they’re all in full symphony.
