Street, this morning.
Along with the roses on the corner of Henry, pictures of which I showered my Twitter followers with, ‘cuz they probably needed a sweet start to the week.

Matthew, I took a run in Prospect Park today, partly to survey what sort of wake the GGMSP left. . . I didn’t dare go over to the Nethermead, and stayed on the Long Meadow. Lots of orioles singing, barn swallows darting, and the grass looked darn happy.
If I didn’t know better, I would suspect that a certain lover of Brooklyn’s out-of-doors was able to cast a meteorological spell over the GGMSP. . .
Man, there had to be a lotta folks drowning their tears in beers after that washout! If it wasn’t you who opened the heavens, I would say that the Prospect Park sylphs, gnomes and undines are not all that happy with this event, the way they have brought the heavens down on the partygoers two years in a row. . .Off tomorrow to camp under the stars at Bodega Bay for a few days.
Cheers,
Kevin-
I give the nesting Green Heron most of the credit for bringing the cleansing weather. Not fans of Matt & Kim and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, evidently.
Enjoy the Bay!
