More Kestrels! In Manhattan’s Chinatown, I recently joined Peregrine Paparazza Marion to check out the three American Kestrels nests she keeps an eye on. Above is the “Big Head” nest. Male looking in, presumably to check on nestlings June 17.
At least two fledglings in this Canal Street nest, 6/17.
Division Street: no activity seen 6/17. Marion saw a male looking in later in the week.
On June 21st, we saw the presumptive mom nearby.
