    IDs? Especially the Ichneumans – I haven’t seen them in person.

      There’s the rub: the Ichneumonids are really hard to ID because there are soooo many of them.

    I saw a few black wasps crawling in the gravel at my cabin this week. Their wings were shredded so much that they could no longer fly.
