


Two days ago, on Friday: the four nestlings are getting too big for their britches.






Starting out from Brooklyn, an amateur naturalist explores our world.
As John Burroughs said, “The place to observe nature is where you are.”
We don’t have ravens out here in Kansas City (unless Baltimore is in town for a football game) but I manage to get by observing the crows we do have.
I continue to be amazed/impressed by the amount of wildlife you see in Brooklyn, but I suspect it’s like most things: the more you LOOK, the more you see.
