    I was alarmed by the (slight) distortion in the vision of my right eye, and after an MRI to confirm I didn’t have a brain tumor, an ophthalmologist eventually (after several expensive visits) diagnosed it as a Weiss Ring, which is not uncommon for aging eyes. I can ignore it now and even have to search for it in my line of sight.

      I had several elaborate tests to see if there was anything wrong with the retina; thankfully there was not. Although two walks down the street with my pupils maxed-out was one too many.
