Barn Swallows at Jamaica Bay. [Opps! I meant Tree Swallows!]

[Thanks to those who alerted me to my typo.]
Starting out from Brooklyn, an amateur naturalist explores our world.
As John Burroughs said, “The place to observe nature is where you are.”

Not tree swallows? Hi! Karen
Not Barn Swallows in the least. Classic Trees. Don’t know where that Barn even came from…
Methinks these be Tree Swallows. Would a good batch of photos by another name look as attractive?
I am such a fan of your blog and your work, and so appreciate your fantastic photos and all the work you put in. I often think of commenting, and never do, because, you know, I’ll do it later, and then I don’t, anyway, I’m rambling on like this because I’m embarrassed that my first direct feedback to you is mildly critical, but . . . aren’t those tree swallows?
They absolutely are Tree Swallows. I don’t know that I was thinking/typing at the time. Thank you for noticing.
