Under the porch on the back of my house in suburbia is a thriving chipmunk population. It helps that the squirrels splash seed out of the bird feeder for them.
I saw a chipmunk at my birdfeeder this morning. It’s been unseasonably warm here, but it still seems too early for them to emerge.
