
The local Great Horned Owls weren’t in their usual perching tree. (One at least was in the nest tree.) So I walked under the perching tree, and saw plenty of evidence of fine owl dining.

Mostly squirrel, I’d guess? Or does most rodent hair bleach out to this color?
I think mostly rat; they hunt at night, when wise squirrels should be tucked in.
Please identify what the meal was composed of… I am not too good with bone identification. Thank you!
