Baeolophus bicolor

Green-Wood is having a little Tufted Titmouse festival. Had eight or so sightings on Saturday. They have been scarce in recent years. I wonder if a few will stick around this winter?
Don’t let the innocent mien fool you.

    I must admit that I’ve usually seen them predating the feeder seeds, grabbing one and pounding it to death on a nearby branch.
