Raptor Wednesday

Another day of American Kestrels atop the Neo-gothic Green-Wood gatehouse.
This time the female was eating.
While these two were boss of the spires…
A different male was in a nearby Northern Red Oak that looks like it’s on its last roots. All three could see each other.
The next day as I passed, there were no Ks on the gatehouse, but this one flew into the same Red Oak.
