Mulberries are ripening. This one went right into the gullet of……a fledgling. Simultaneously, the very same apple tree had a fledgling Northern Mockingbird in it.Several days earlier, I’d come across a crow with a different fledgling Robin. Around here, I’ve seen American and Fish Crows look into the traffic light support tubes that frequently harbor House Sparrow nests. The other day, I saw one move from one of these to a nearby window air-conditioner,, looking intently under that. House Sparrows also frequently nest under these.
