    Karl and I went to Croton Gorge on Saturday. There was a deer carcass that washed up on the edge of the dam. A vulture swooped down and was having a good picnic! Nature’s clean up crew.

      Good gravy! I bet a few more will visit before it’s all done. Once, passing in a bus, I saw a few vulture scavenging a deer on an I-95 median. Felt like a vision of the Serengeti.
