    I’ve noticed the birds eating the dandelion seeds, too. I let the dandelions bloom out in the yard and go to seed. Glad they provide a natural food source.

    Seeds have more protein than leaves. This time of year lots of protein is needed for reproduction. Or, they just taste good……
