Raptor Wednesday

I always look towards the linden above the Steinway mausoleum. Sometimes I spot a Merlin.
As do the Blue Jays.
On the other side of the mausoleum are a pine and yew in close proximity. Good place for a:
Young Coopers Hawk. An odd call that turned out to be another cop-like Blue Jay had me look at the pine intently. The Coop flew out to perch in a neighboring beech.
Which did not silence the Jays.
