Clammin’ continued

Clam’s away! The problem, of course, is how to get the meat of the matter. The hard-shell clam, Mercenaria mercenaria, or northern quahog, is a tough little bivalve.
The rocks below, populated with Ring-billed Gulls who seemed to know not to mess with much larger Herring Gull, proved a breaking place for the clam. Which looks little-neck size.
