American Wigeon male joins the gang.
Twice in three winters, Common Goldeneye males have jetted away before I’ve gotten a good look.
Female Bufflehead in flight.
Male Red-breasted Merganser in full punk.

    Lord, love a duck! as my grandmother used tosay when exasperated. Well, I do. They are colorful, noisy at times and they float. Can’t think of a better reason to go out in a windy 12 degrees tomorrow.
