The Northern Italian Wall Lizards seem to be doing well. I counted eight the other day, including the one in the series of photos below, peeking out of a crevice in a pyramidal mausoleum.

Backyard and Beyond 
Cute little lizards! Much like an anole my son had as a pet. How do the survive the winter?
Not exactly sure. They must go to ground and do a hibernation or semi-hibernation thing.
