    What is the yellow flower with the toothed petals and the hoverfly? Is it goatsbeard? What with Covid isolation, I didn’t get to see any this year.

      I think it’s Common Cat’s-Ear (also known as Hairy’s Cat’s Ear in the NY Flora Atlas) Hypochaeris radicata.
