Even in the cold, all muffled up, we should be far from senseless.Look out for the textures, juxtapositions, paradoxes, and above all, in these quiet, near monochromatic, months, the subtleties.

  1. beautiful – especially the honey locust (?) twigs and thorns, and the grass seeds.

    1. Yes, Honey Locust from the Promenade, where old school trees were planted. Modern variations come without the thorns, which I think a great shame.

  2. Lovely post. For mega-thorned Honey locusts, come on up to Riverside Park. We got spikes.
