First Osprey sighting of the year: March 22nd. Actually saw another later in the day but had a sandwich in hand and could not photograph.
And here’s one in better light on March 24th. They migrate up from Florida and places further south. Individuals satellite-tagged on Nantucket Island and Jamaica Bay here in NYC wintered in Colombia.
PSA: Tomorrow, March 28, is the the third No Kings protest. Events are being held around the country.
