Waterfowl Roulette

You never know what you’ll see on Green-Wood’s ponds. This time of year, there’s also the question of ice. On this particular day, without about half the water frozen:

A female Hooded Merganser and a male Bufflehead (one of two).

And a female Wood Duck.
