(Smaller/higher bird maybe a Red-shouldered. On November 18, I spotted at least three Red-shouldered in an unusually heavy migratory pulse.)

Gorgeous birds and photographs! We have a family of red tailed hawks out here in McLaren Park in San Francisco.
I love your photos of the raptors! Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. If turkeys wer not on the menu, how long a life would they have, assuming they were protected from predators?
