Woodpeckers

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in the same tree as a

Downy Woodpecker.

The Downy was doing some serious excavation. This is a Kentucky Yellowwood, which I’ve found these little woodpeckers on before digging hard for some kind of prey in there.
