  1. Do ticks count? I was hiking in my Ozark forest yesterday and found two ticks (so far) who thought I was going to provide them with a blood feast. (It was 85 degrees in my patch of woods yesterday, so I guess they think spring has sprung.)

  2. We have been cautioned that tick bites spread diseases, so be vigilant!
