Squirrels in some city parks will come right up to you for food, but Green-Wood’s Eastern Grays are quite cautious. After all, you could be a Red-tailed Hawk. This one was planning the next move… that right front paw may have been in bad shape.

This one was gnawing away on hickory nuts.

Green-Wood has don’t feed the wildlife signs up, but plenty of idiots disregard that, tossing their garbage to the ducks, for example.

I think I’ve solved the technical issues, but at the expense of the nice clean layout I’ve used for years. Seems they’re no longer updating that “theme,” so I had to pick a new one. I may not stick with this one, though, so these pages may look different the next time you visit. I’ve yet to figure out how to bring photos to the splash page.
