    In general, spideer silk is stronger, more ductile and more flexible than any steel of the same dimension. It doesn’t rust or otherwise corrode in wet situations and is recyclable by many of it’s manufacturers. Top that with it being made for millenia and human accomplishment in materials resarch pales in comparison.
