Nobody has said it for a while, but I have had people here say “don’t do politics, I just want to see pretty pictures.” Don’t do politics? How do such people expect there to be pretty pictures without politics, particularly when politics is hell-bent on destroying those pretty pictures?
Opening up Tongass National Forest to the clear-cutters; stripping protection for wolves for the killers; polluting our air, water, soil, and food for the profiteers; ravaging Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument for his Potemkin wall. That same ideological attack has resulted in a quarter million unnecessary deaths, devastated families, and saddled Covid-survivors with dreadful long-term consequences (Trump is still in court trying to kill the ACA and its preexsiting conditions protections). That coked-up filth, Donald Trump, Jr., said on Thursday night, after more than 1000 Covid deaths that day, that the death toll was “almost down to nothing,” as a ghastly Fox-blonde smirked.)
Trump and his death-cult party have been an environmental and conservation disaster. He’s going to burn everything to the ground as long as he can. God-damn every motherfucker who votes for these people.
